You can now make your Kahler equipped guitar do the "Drop-D" and back without having to re-tune each time. That's right dive bomb in while in dropped tunings with your Kahler cam system. Kahler cam systems that don't have this "Drop-D Stop", simply can't switch from "E" to "D" and back again without retuning each time. That's why a Floyd Rose D-Tuner tremolo only dives one way, but doesn't pull back. The back of the tremolo has to rest on the guitar body top during the dropped D. The Kahler uses a slightly different resting style... the "Drop-D" enabled Kahler rests on an adjustable stilt under the back of the cam allowing the same "one-way" action....and more. It will not only dive bomb one way when in "Drop D" mode, but when you want to go crazy, you can go into full trem exodus mode or be locked down tight as a rats ass for perfect double stop bends. Doing the "D"...

Stringlock or locknut... no matter, there is plenty enough travel through the onboard fine tuner, to go from E to D and back effortlessly. No need to undo the stringlock/locknut screws every time. If your using locking tuners, you can detune in the same fashion or use the tuners on the head stock.
