Each PL-1 plate is made from PVC plastic at 1/16 inch thick and will fit perfectly underneath your 7300 raising it 1/16" or stack 2 for 1/8".
You can also use them for a routing template. Use them as a more permanent alternative to the cardboard Kahler templates. Great for Luthier's! You can countersink your new 7300 tremolo. Use these templates for those low profile installs to imbed your tremolo into your the guitar body. Great for those extremely shallow neck angles. Please, don't always assume you need a plate. A plate will always raise the entire bridge 1/16", and may cause you a chain of re-adjustments to get back your desired string height. Remember, a kahler flat mount was designed to work on any flat top guitar, however a Kahler is not large in size and sometimes can't cover up everything, so sometimes a coverage/adapter plate is an easy fix. I always suggest you wait on the plate until you know if you need it. There are no refunds on plates.

FYI: The new 7300 stacker plates/templates are similar but not matched perfectly with the old 23xx Kahlers that have the Kahler logo on the side. The new style frames have a softer radius on the edges as opposed to the squared corners of the old style. Also the new style has a rounded back. To make your old tremolo work perfectly with the new adapter plates, you will need to get a new style mounting plate or a completely new 7300 if necessary.
