Got a Floyd Rose, Fender System I or a similar fulcrum piece of junk? Want to put a Kahler 7300 or 7330 Hybrid there instead? If your Fulcrum (Floyd Rose/ System 1 type) tremolo sits on top of the guitar body instead of bieng recessed, you want the PL-5. With a narrower front than the PL-4, the PL-5 will cover the standard Fulcrum post spread on most guitars with a pickguard. As opposed to the PL-4 which does the same but is wider and used with or without pickguards. Of course bieng solid 360HH brass means you will be adding some awesome bell tone chime. That makes up for all that lost wood that was removed by wood working termites, during the building process. Please, don't always assume you need a plate. A plate will always raise the entire bridge 1/16", and may cause you a chain of re-adjustments to get back your desired string height. Remember, a kahler flat mount was designed to work on any flat top guitar, however a Kahler is not large in size and sometimes can't cover up everything, so sometimes a coverage/adapter plate is an easy fix. I always suggest you wait on the plate until you know if you need it. There are no refunds on plates.
Width of the plate is: 3-5/8 " or 92.0 mm |
| Length of the plate is 3-9/16 " or 90.5 mm |
| Thickness of plate is 1/16" or 1.5 mm and made from pure 360HH brass and plated with black, chrome or gold plating. |
$39.00 each.
