System 1 Cleaning:

We can deep clean the entire tremolo and perform de-rusting (wire brushing) of non plated parts only, and a total reassembly with lubricants to preserve it longer. This entire process is basically washing and general cleanup and lube of the entire trem. We cannot work miracles here and make it brand new. But if you want someone who is familar with these trems to clean yours up for you as best that can be expected, then we are your source. We can also install new saddle bolts (left top) and new saddle lockdown screws (right) to make your system 1 look better. You can choose that option and add it in if you want. Cleaning ($25.00) or Cleaning with new parts installed ($45.00).

Retapping:

Sometimes you acquire one of these system I trems on an old guitar and the tuners are missing or stripped. We can re-tap them again to accept new Kahler tuners with 6/32 threads or try it yourself through a local machinist shop. All fine tuner holes are retapped by hand to accept Kahler fine tuners. Retapping is $20.00 or $62.00 with tuners.

Arm installation:

We can install a new replacement arm for your System I. We will drill out your existing 9/32" (7.15mm) arm hole, enlarging it to 3/8" (9.15mm), We will be making the arm hole larger, so the new slightly larger arm module will pass thru. We will assemble and install it to the tremolo. Includes arm. $49.00
